IT'S TIME FOR YOUR SHOOT

SO DRESS UP RIGHT

That bright red outfit may look amazing at an event but trust us, it's not gonna do you any favours on camera. We wanna make sure you look the best when we work with you so we've prepared a handy clothing guide that you can use to choose your outfit. If you're not sure, just contact our crew member who sent you to this page for clarifications.

Alright, here is the text version

Being on camera does not mean you need to dress like someone else. It just means a few small choices can make things look better, feel more comfortable, and save everyone some hassle later.

First things first: comfort matters. Cameras, lights, and microphones get warm quickly, so heavy fabrics are not your friend. Cotton or other light materials work best. And yes, ironing helps. Wrinkles are way more visible on camera than you think.

When it comes to colours, try to keep things calm. Deep, rich colours like blues, cobalt, purples, and pastels work great on camera. Extremely bright colours, pure white, pure black, or very hot colours like neon pink, green, yellow, or orange tend to misbehave under lights. They either distract, reflect too much, or make colour correction harder than it needs to be.

Patterns are another thing to watch. Stripes, polka dots, plaid, or busy patterns can start moving on screen in weird ways. It is not you, it is the camera. Solid colours are always the safest option.

Logos and big slogans are also best avoided. They can pull attention away from you, send unintended messages, or even cause copyright issues later on. Neutral is good. Timeless is even better.

Accessories and styling matter too. Heavy or clanky jewellery, dangling earrings, shiny hair products, or glossy lipstick can all become very noticeable on camera. A little powder helps with shine, and subtle choices usually work best.

In short: dress like yourself, just slightly calmer. If you are unsure, ask our crew. We are happy to help before the camera starts rolling.
